LEARN THE GAME!

COACHING STAFF: The Joel Klatt Football School will maintain a 9-1 player to coach ratio. The following coaches are a part of our JKFS staff. Each Joel Klatt Football School will also feature local high school and youth coaches.

DIRECTORS:

Joel Klatt- Captain of the 2004 and 2005 CU Buffaloes and holder of numerous Colorado passing records. Joel was a pre-season All American in 2005 and is currently a FOX Sports Commentator for their national Big 12 show.

David Hansburg- Thirteen years of experience coaching and administrating BCS College Football (Northwestern University, CU and University of Idaho). Eleven years of experience directing youth football camps. Currently the Manager and Director of Rocky Mountain Day Camp in Superior, Colorado.

COACHES:

Gary Klatt- (Head Coach) Member of the Jefferson County Hall of Fame for his accomplishments as Head Football Coach at Pomona HS. Coach Klatt has coached football for over thirty years.

Jay Madden- (Quarterbacks) Head Football Coach at Pomona High School. Former All-American LB at Mesa State.

Jeremy Bloom- (Speaker) Freshman All-American wide receiver and kick returner at CU. Drafted by Philadelphia Eagles in 2006. (Jeremy will join the staff if he is available.)

John Wristen- (Running Backs/Tight Ends) Head Football Coach at University of Southern Colorado. John has 18 years of Division 1-A coaching experience at CU, Northwestern and UCLA.

Ryan Walters- (Defensive Backs) DB who captained the CU Buffs in 2008. Ryan is a potential NFL Draft Pick in the 2009 draft.

Justin Bates- (Offensive Line) All Big 12 Offensive Lineman and team captain at CU. Drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 2003.

John Torp- (Punting/Kicking) John was an All-Big 12 selection for the CU Buffaloes. He signed a free agent contract with the Minnesota Vikings in 2006.

Jason Klatt- (Linebackers) Defensive Coordinator at Mountain View High School. Eight years experience coaching youth football.

Dusty Sprague- (Wide Receivers) Played wide receiver for the CU Buffaloes from 2003-2007. Currently Dusty is the wide receivers coach at CSU-Pueblo.
